This release brings a polyphonic 32-step sequencer engine, Macro page and a handful of smaller updates. Check out detailed release notes below and grab the firmware for:
Linux
- You might need to run the updater as sudo depending on serial port permissions
Mac
- The firmware updater will ask for permissions to access files on a removable volume, you should accept or the update will fail
- During the update, there’s going to be an eject warning that you can safely ignore
- Updating might fail intermittently because of a Mac OS driver issue, trying again should help
Windows
- Please close all software using MIDI before running the firmware updater
- After you connect the Redshift 6 to a Windows computer with USB for the first time, you might need to reboot before the firmware updater works
