We cracked the problem mentioned in Dev Diary #2, and now we have a firmware update that will not brick the synth no matter how it is interrupted! In other words, even though the update may fail if the connection is lost in the middle, the synth firmware is always left in a state where you can simply retry the update until it succeeds.
This update brings with it USB MIDI and one bug fix, which we’ve had for a while but couldn’t release without a reliable updater. It’s a beta update, so there could still be bugs, usability issues etc which we’re hoping to find and fix before releasing the first stable firmware, which will also contain a few more features, as detailed in the roadmap.
